A very proud day for everyone associated to Lifeaid Defibrillators.
Sarah Knight suffered a cardiac arrest at Parrswood Entertainment Centre in Didsbury Manchester last year and her life was saved due to the amazing response from Parrswood employees and the fact that Lifeaid had placed a defibrillator on site.
Not only has Sarah made a full recovery but she now commits much of her time to teaching CPR to people in her community.
We were delighted to meet Sarah and her lovely family at Parrswood yesterday where Kevin Dryburgh our Director gifted a defibrillator to Sarah that she is going to install locally to protect her own community against cardiac arrest.
It is very rare that we get to meet people who’s lives have been saved and yesterday was a very humbling and emotional experience for everyone who attended.
Every business in the UK should make the small investment required to place defibrillators and give anybody suffering cardiac arrest in the future every opportunity to survive and go home to there loved ones.
