Introduction from Omar.
My name is Omar I started my career in 2004 with what was then Lancashire ambulance service before the north west counties amalgamated in to North West ambulance.
I initially started as a health advisor on the phones working with out of hours GP providers and emergency dentist , this passion for caring led me to join the emergency side of operations.
I trained as an emergency technician in 2010 and qualified as a paramedic in 2019 form UCLan.
My passion has always been to pass on any knowledge I have benefited from, for the betterment of humanity. Working as an emergency paramedic has given a role of ideas and experience in delivering patient care, this includes teaching first aid in the community.
I have gained accreditation from the British Heart Foundation in delivering CPR and first aid in schools, offices and the general community.
